Belgium Schengen visa photo specifications
The Photographs for visa application of Belgium Schengen visa has some important specifications.
The Photographs shall not be old than six months
The face in the photograoh should be in sharp focus and clear with artificial mark
The photograph must be taken by looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression and the mouth closed
The crown to chin area in the photographs shall be 70 to 80 per cent of the vertical height of the picture.
Eyes must be open with no lights reflected in the glasses
The glasses shall not have tinted lenses.
The photograph must have appropriate brightness and contrast
The photograph must have a plain and light coloured background.
There must be no object or person in the photograph.
The photograph must be 45 x 35 mm (1.77 x 1.38 in) and not smaller than 32 x 26 mm (1.26 x 1.02 in) in height and width and must only show a close-up of schengen visa applicant’s head and the top of the shoulder
For Belgium Schengen visa covering of Head shall not be accepted except in condition which the State authority specifically approves. Such conditions may be religious, medical or cultural.
The photograph must be printed on photo-quality paper .
